Bawtry Churches have arranged an Election Forum for 7.30pm on Monday 26th April 2010.
This follows similar meetings in 1997, 2002 & 2005 held in Bawtry. This year the
venue will again be in the Command Room at Bawtry Hall.
All the parliamentary candidates for the Don Valley Constituency will be invited.
Caroline Flint (Labour), Matthew Stephens (Conservative) and Edwin Simpson (Liberal
Democrat) have already indicated that they will attend.
Have you ever wished you could ask politicians about issues that matter to you, your
family and community? Well, now’s your chance to set the agenda! Subject areas will
be selected from questions submitted through one of the three Bawtry Churches, by
email to ivorgreer@hotmail.com or sent to “Election Forum”, c/o Bawtry Hall, Bawtry,
DN10 6JH.
All questions need to be received by Thursday 22nd April. There should be an opportunity
for follow up questions on the night.
Come to Bawtry Hall at 7.30pm on Monday 26th April 2010. Meet your would-be Member
of Parliament and hear what they have to say. Then make up your mind how to vote
on 6th May.
