Bawtry Churches Together

In addition money was given to build 2 wells in the arid town of Mutur which is the home for several thousand people. Water was very scarce.
A Christian fishing community on the south coast was given this boat to replace one lost in the tsunami.
The doctors ran health clinics in 4 regions. Preventative and curative treatment was dispensed free of charge which was gratefully received.
Many other smaller projects have been supported since the team’s return.
a) The purchase of a milk producing cow to improve the nutrition of hill country children who showed signs of malnutrition.
b) The building of chalets for teenage girls who had lost one or both parents
c) A team of primary school teachers from the Bawtry area visited the same areas and helped with children’s education in the summer of 2006.
